The Great Park Balloon is the one of the biggest attractions at the Orange County Great Park. The Balloon soars 400 feet above the ground, giving guests a 360-degree view that spans 40 miles on clear days. This is one of the largest tethered helium balloons in the world and the first of its kind in the U.S. The Great Park Balloon is open to the public Thursday through Sunday. Thursday and Friday the Balloon is open from 10am to 3pm and again from 7pm to 10pm. On Saturdays and Sundays, it is open from 9am to 3pm and again from 7pm to 10pm. The Balloon is closed Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
